My name is Lyssa Seward.

I am a mom of four who believes that some of the best ways to help my kids grow come from a sense of adventure and willingness to go all in on the joys of being a kid with my kids. Swim in the lake. Wear the crazy hair. Throw the snowballs. Explore new places. Messes can be cleaned up. Never turn down a hug or late night story. And always say “yes” to glitter.

I bring the same philosophy to teaching…connection and community is king. Play the games. Celebrate the wins, big and small. Dance parties are a must. Explore new ideas. Mistakes are important. Never turn down a hug or the need to talk. And always say “yes” to glitter.

Children will flourish when they feel valued and loved. Students spend more of their waking hours in a weekday with us than anyone else; something that I hold in high regard. I approach my role with creaitivity, flexibility, curiosity, dedication, a whole lot of heart, and yes…glitter.
